Information we collect
We collect account and profile information; billing and credit records; prompts, scripts, projects, scenes, uploads, generated media, voices, characters, and exports; connected social-account details and publishing activity; support communications; and technical information such as IP address, browser, device, logs, cookies, and local preferences. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider rather than stored directly by VideoGen AI.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, operate and secure the service, process payments and credits, generate and store content, publish at a user’s direction, provide support, prevent abuse and fraud, comply with law, and communicate about accounts and material service changes.
Google API data and AI/ML
VideoGen AI does not use, transfer, or sell raw or derived Google user data to create, train, or improve generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. VideoGen AI does not currently request or access user data through Google Workspace APIs or Google Photos APIs. YouTube account data is used only to provide user-requested channel connection and video-publishing functionality.
Providers and disclosures
Depending on the feature selected, information may be processed by authentication, payment, hosting, database, object-storage, AI, voice, email, and connected social-platform providers. Current providers may include Clerk, Stripe, Render, Neon, Cloudflare, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Runware, fal.ai, Replicate, ElevenLabs, and social platforms a user connects. Providers may operate in multiple countries and have their own terms.
Sale and advertising
We do not sell personal information. We do not currently use Google Ads. Before advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising is introduced, we will update this policy and provide required consent or opt-out controls.
Retention and deletion
Completed export files are automatically deleted after 10 days. Other uploaded and generated files remain until the user deletes them or deletes the related content or account. Items in Trash remain recoverable for 30 days and are then permanently deleted. We may retain limited payment, fraud-prevention, dispute, security, backup, or legal records when reasonably necessary.
Downloads and portability
Users can download available media and completed project exports individually, or request one downloadable archive containing their account data and all available managed uploaded and generated files.
Your rights and choices
Settings allows users to update profile information, download application data, delete content, disconnect social accounts, and request account deletion. Depending on applicable law, users may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. We may verify identity. California residents may have additional rights, including non-discrimination for exercising applicable privacy rights.
International users
VideoGen AI is operated from the United States and does not actively target the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Users there are not blocked, and their information may be transferred to the United States and other countries where providers operate.
Age, security, and changes
VideoGen AI is for adults age 18 or older. We use access controls, HTTPS, encrypted connected-account tokens, and other safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. We may revise this policy and will update the date above.
